I tried ArtCAM 2016 and was unable to open old projects. You can compare the different products in the Autodesk ArtCAM 2017 product range here. Therefore, Autodesk ArtCAM Premium 2017 can be used for the design and manufacture of jewellery in exactly the same way as ArtCAM JewelSmith 2015 R2. That said, Luxion KeyShot can still be used alongside Autodesk ArtCAM Premium 2017 using the method described here.
